Dr. Ahmed Aljarro (Al-Jarro) holds a B.Eng. and Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering and High-Performance Computing from the University of Nottingham, UK. In 2021, he joined Saudi Aramco Research & Development Center (R&DC) as a Lead Scientist, and currently holds the position of R&DC Science Specialist at the Aramco Research Center at KAUST, KSA.

He served in multiple leading Research and Development roles, with more than 20 years of experience, working at various industrial sectors, academic research institutions, cross-functional teams, and organizations. This includes the University of Nottingham, UK, KAUST, KSA, University College London, and Fujitsu Labs of Europe, London, UK, and Saudi Aramco, KSA.

Dr. Aljarro specializes in the emerging Tech of IR4.0, Smart Sensing, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital Transformation. He is an author and inventor of numerous publications and patents, and the recipient of several corporate and international awards, locally and globally. He is particularly inspired by building and executing state-of-the-art technologies, strategies, and roadmaps, giving rise to intelligence and digitalization.
